This workshop empowers parent/carer and child/adolescent pairs to explore ear massage and ear seeding stepped protocols together to support ADD, ADHD, executive function challenges and family bonding.

This hands-on workshop teaches ear seeding as a self regulation and co-regulation tool for teens and their trusted adults. Working in pairs, participants learn to identify key acupoints linked to ADHD brain regions and neural pathways and practice turn-taking to support emotional regulation, sleep, and executive function and pathophysiology of ADHD, ADD and Executive Function impacted people and families.

No prior experience needed—just a willingness to connect, learn and participate.

What’s Included:

  • Guided ear seeding practice with anatomical maps
  • Character-based overlays for brain regions and emotional tone
  • Breathwork, CBT-style prompts, and motivational reframing
  • Seed Tracker and take-home regulation plan
  • Optional ear massage protocol for non-seeding participants

How It Helps:

  • Stimulates neural pathways that bridge emotional reactivity and prefrontal cortex thinking
  • Supports dopamine and norepinephrine balance for focus, calm, and relational repair
  • Builds trust, reduces conflict, and restores shared regulation between adult and teen

Using playful character animation to represent brain structures and neural networks that are evidence based to improve inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, neurochemistry and emotional regulation via auricular stimulation of specific acupoints in specific combinations according to Barkley and Faraone's pathophysiology of the ADHD and EF impacted brain.

Learning in person helps for accurate anatomy, acupoint locations in the right supportive combinations on the ear.

MTAT Connecting Protocol brings together families or any supportive adults with children and young people without authority or conflict.

This workshop is restorative focused as an equalising intervention that reduces conflict, hierarchy, is low demand, does not require talking therapy.

No diagnosis is necessary.

Ear seeding is not recommended on very young children due to risk of swallowing.
